Being that splashbacks are still a relatively new product, (especially made in Perspex® and Acrylic) we find we are often asked many splashback questions. We hope the information below helps to answer many of these.
They will look almost the same but images on screen can look different from the real product as contrast, brightness, and display profiles on every screen and monitor are different. The same is also true for any print out you may have as printer settings also vary from printer to printer.
We recommend attachment to the wall using a special adhesive that will not react to the coating.
We recommend Soudal Fix All Crystal Bonding Sealing Polymer Adhesive. We provide a fixing kit with everything you need.
In short, yes, if the tiles are clean, stable, and level. Although, this is not something that we would recommend, due to the unstable nature of tiles. It is always better to apply the splashback directly onto a prepared wall. See our guides for more information on how the walls should be prepared.
The wall should be free of bows or raised areas over approximately 4mm. Any sharp areas need to be removed. Unevenness less than 4mm will be taken up by the adhesive and flexibility in the panel. All walls must be sealed using either PVA or emulsion paint. The walls will be obscured by the splashback so the surface does not need to look pretty. Wiring must be channelled into walls.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a return service for custom made items.

Very little. This is just one of the many reasons why splashbacks are the preferred choice for wall covering in modern kitchens and bathrooms today. Just wiping down with every day cleaner and a soft cloth is enough to keep your splashback looking clean, bright and just like the day it was installed.

3mm Natural Crystal Finish
3mm Uncoated (natural crystal 3mm) - A thinner 3mm thick alternative to our 5mm thick panels. These are much more flexible than our 5mm panels, making them perfect for slight curves or situations where ultra-light applications are needed. These do not have scratch, mould and chemical resistant properties.
5mm Natural Crystal Finish
5mm Uncoated (natural crystal) - Visually indistinguishable from our Premium Hard-coated panels. The only difference is that these panels do not have the scratch, mould and chemical resistant properties.
5mm Premium Hard Coated Gloss Finish
5mm Hard-coated acrylic (premium gloss) - Your scratch resistant hard-coated panels also have mould and detergent resistant properties; making them the most hygienic and safe way to protect your kitchen, bathroom or any other room or purpose. They are light, while remaining very hard wearing.
6mm Toughened Glass
Highly scratch resistant, toughened glass. Our glass is low-Iron…meaning that it is as crystal clear as possible. This stops the green tint that you see on most glass, meaning the colour will be unaltered and seen as it was intended. Tough and heavyweight items. Bespoke, unique, classy look. Our glass is heat resistant so can be used behind direct heat sources. You can have any colour or design…just as all of our acrylics.
